Privacy Notice

Last updated: October 20, 2026

1. Who is responsible?

The controller responsible for this website is Heiko-Hendrik Fahnick, operating the AEGIS AI project.

Email: aegisai.pilots@gmail.com

Postal contact details: Legal notice / Impressum.

2. Website hosting

This public concept demonstration is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. When you visit the website, technical connection information, potentially including IP address, request information and security-related metadata, may be processed by Cloudflare to deliver and protect the site.

Our legal basis for necessary website delivery and security is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are providing an accessible and secure website.

Cloudflare operates an international network and may process certain information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States, subject to applicable data transfer safeguards.

Provider information: Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

3. Pilot inquiry form

If you request pilot access, we process the information you submit: name, work email address, company if provided, selected infrastructure challenge, and optional message.

We use this information to respond to your inquiry, evaluate potential pilot collaboration and communicate about your requested use case.

Depending on the inquiry, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for requested pre-contractual steps or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for our legitimate interest in responding to professional inquiries.

Name and email are required to respond. Other details are voluntary except the challenge selection in the current form. Please do not submit passwords, credentials, production logs or sensitive personal information.

4. Formspree and email delivery

Our pilot form sends submissions to Formspree. Formspree processes and stores submissions and sends a notification to our contact email address hosted by Google (Gmail). No additional third-party workflow integrations are currently configured for this form.

These providers may process information internationally, including in the United States. Formspree states that it relies on Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers in its role as a data processor.

Provider information: Formspree Security and Google Privacy Policy.

5. Retention

We retain pilot correspondence only as long as necessary to review and respond to the inquiry, discuss a potential pilot, or comply with applicable legal obligations. We periodically review and delete inquiries that are no longer needed. Copies may remain within provider systems subject to their retention and deletion processes.

Technical hosting data is retained according to the applicable Cloudflare service settings and policies.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing of your personal data. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

Contact us at aegisai.pilots@gmail.com to exercise your rights.

7. Automated decisions and demonstration data

We do not use submitted pilot inquiries for automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. The public AEGIS AI scenarios are fictional and predetermined. The incident-lab example is processed locally in your browser by the page's JavaScript and is not submitted to the pilot form unless you choose to include information in that form.

8. Changes

We may update this notice when our website, providers or data processing practices change.
